Why Every Garment Gets Tagged and Sealed Before It Leaves Our Facility

Most laundry mistakes — a missing shirt, someone else's trousers in your bag, a damaged button nobody flagged — happen at intake, not at the wash. If a garment isn't tracked from the moment it arrives, every step after that is a guess.

Every item that comes into SPARKLIN HUB gets a numbered tag before it touches water. That tag stays attached through washing, drying and pressing, so a garment can be traced back to the exact order it belongs to at any point in the process, not just matched up at the end by memory.

Pre-existing damage gets flagged at the same stage. Loose buttons, small tears, faded patches or worn seams are noted on intake so there's no dispute later about whether a mark was already there before we touched it — the tag doubles as a small paper trail of the garment's condition.

Once an item is clean, pressed and inspected, it's individually wrapped before storage or delivery. Sealing each piece keeps dust, transit dirt and odours from other garments off a freshly cleaned item — a real risk when dozens of finished pieces sit together waiting for pickup.

Wrapping also protects delicate finishing work. A crisply pressed collar or a steamed pleat can lose its shape sitting loose in a bag on the way to you; sealed individually, each piece holds its press until it's unwrapped at your door.

It's a small, unglamorous step compared to the actual cleaning, but it's the one that quietly prevents most of the complaints laundry services get — wrong items, dusty delivery, or a perfectly cleaned shirt that looks crumpled by the time it arrives.
